Dr. Joy Kannarkat is the practicum coordinator. See him at least six weeks before the semester during which you will be doing your practicum. Failure to follow this procedure may result in delaying your practicum and your graduation!

Psychology/Early Childhood Education Certification Endorsement Grades N/K-Four:

A program of study leading to a degree in psychology and teaching certification for elementary education. Your academic advisor is the best source of information about each curriculum and will help you in deciding which is best for you. It is important to follow your curriculum carefully to ensure that you take the right courses and in the proper sequence.

Be aware that some courses are offered only once a year. It is important to plan carefully so that you don't miss taking a course and have to wait a year until it is offered again. This is particularly important for classes that serve as prerequisites for more advanced courses.
