About the Center For Applied Research and Public Policy

The Center for Applied Research and Public Policy (CARPP) was founded in 1990. CARPP provides research and data as a public service to the state of Virginia, national agencies and groups throughout the United States. It specializes in providing geographical information systems (GIS) analysis and U.S. Bureau of Census-based research and reports. Over its inception, CARPP has posted data and conducted research in the following areas:
