| About the Center For Applied Research and Public Policy
The Center for Applied Research and Public Policy (CARPP)was founded in 1990. CARPP provides research and data
as a public service to the state of Virginia, national agencies and groups throughout the United States. It specializes in providing geographical
information systems (GIS) analysis and U.S. Bureau of Census-based research and reports. Over the last ten years, CARPP has generated more than
120 data bases and reports in the following areas:
