Dr.O'Neil Sanford is one of the premier music educators/directors in the nation. Since becoming a music educator in 1965, he has held numerous positions in the field of Music including Director of Bands at the University of Minnesota, and the University of Pittsburgh. He currently serves as the Director of Bands at Norfolk State University.
