Bonjour!
Having retired from Norfolk Public Schools in 2001, Mr. Cobb has since been teaching French at NSU. He received a B.A. degree in history from Old Dominion University and an M.A. degree in French from Hampton University. Mr. Cobb has maintained his teaching skills at various universities through workshops, seminars and advanced courses.
Mr. Cobb was the founding secretary of the local chapter of Alliance Francaise, where he has served in many positions. As an extension to his Catholic education, he has continued in his parish ministries, which have included courses at Loyola University, where he pursued an M.A. degree in theology. He was awarded Les Palmes Acadmiques by the French government for his contributions to French culture. His experience was welcome on the Bishop's Advisory Council for two terms, and he was a liaison for the Hampton Roads area.
