Dr. Ira Falls, III, an assistant professor of English, began his service at Norfolk State University on September 21, 1987, as a writing technician in the Language Skills Center. He earned his B.S. and M.A. degrees from Norfolk State University and his Ph.D. from Old Dominion University. He is a contributing author to a published article entitled “Integrated Design Engineering and Activity-Based Learning.”
Dr. Falls’ professional memberships include the National Council of Teachers of English (NCTE), the American Association of University Professors (AAUP), the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development (ASCD), and the American Society for Engineering Education (ASEE).
Dr. Falls’ favorite books are To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee and Lord of the Flies by William Golding.
