Consortium for Strategic
and Global Studies
Founded in 2000, the Consortium for Strategic and Global Studies (CSGS), formerly known as the Center for Strategic and
Global Studies, was created to provide
interdisciplinary analysis of foreign policy, international relations,
military strategy, international law, and national security.
To date
the Consortium has generated analysis of approximately
160 countries. The Consortium's mission includes:
• Establishing
a research venue for the academic, business, legal, military
and political communities.
• Providing opportunities for scholars to exchange
information and conduct research.
• Expanding connections and interactions within the community of global scholars.
• Acting as a conduit to governmental
agencies, businesses and organizations seeking
analysis of national security issues.
• Providing research opportunities
for area students interested in perfecting and enhancing both their research
skills and their knowledge of the
global community.
